    .45acp is Visiting Ohio

    Hi folks,

Well .45acp and wife are traveling east of the Mississippi for the first time in a few years accept for overseas travel. I donít get back east much except traveling through airports.
We are visiting our daughter that recently relocated to Columbus, Ohio. I plan on bringing my 1911 and a few spare mags in locked Pelican case. I have a Utah CCW, which is recognized by Ohio, so I donít see any issues there. Iíll OC depending upon the weather and dress requirements. We donít drink, so bars and nightlife are not a problem. Is OC or CC a problem in restaurants that serve alcohol a problem?

My only real concern is that the return flight connection is through Chicago, but that is covered by federal firearms laws, and I have not heard of issue with firearms as check baggage there.
I might have time for lunch or dinner if there are any OC meet and greets in the next week or so.

Anything in particular an out of stater needs to know about carry OC or CC or particularities concerning carry in Ohio.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Did not see any today while out and about in Pickerington. Went into a Mexican resturant which served alcohol and covered up, since we where seated in the bar area.

    But all is good.

    Merry Xmas to all .
