This article is about a person in the UK that was planning to kill a number of his classmates. Note in the article that the U.S. FBI alerted british authorities after the found internet pictures of him with bmb materials and a firearm. So much for gun laws being a deterrent. It's almost impossible for a commoner to own a gun in the UK. Also note that this person also sufferss from Aspergers.
