Connecticut Carry - Release of DESPP proposed legislation for 2013 session

We have posted all of the legislative proposals for the 2013 session from DESPP:

Obviously there are some concerning pieces that we will be watching and reviewing further to see what kind of response will be needed for these.

    Worth noting:

    - Changes to the background check fees to try and mandate the charge for state background checks that they have been charging for illegally so far (http://ctcarry.com/BackgroundCheckFee/Fees)
    - They are trotting out the changes to BAC while carrying again like they did with SB 64 last session.
    - They want to add DOB and POB to firearms forms.
    - Extra requirements for reporting of gun shows to the DESPP.

Do you think they will be submitting more than this? I fully expected another CC attempt from them....not surprised that they are trying to add the $50 charge in, just shows they know they are collecting it wrongly.

    I think this is it.

I don't think they pushed for CC last year either. I am sure they have figured out that it is a waste of time.
