Easy to use system to archive and show our effectiveness and participation

Connecticut Carry has gone live with an innovative system that seeks to provide a repository of legislative emails chronicling the fight for our rights here in Connecticut.

Our goal with this system is to have a record of how much communication power our members, supporters and general citizens of Connecticut possess. Throughout the recent media blitzkrieg we have been experiencing, we have seen both the media and our legislators parade terms like ‘high demand’ around with regards to the requests for gun control they seek. Our belief is that they will see far more reaction against these bills and proposals than support for them.

Using the system is very simple. Just copy our special, automated email in your email. You can put it in the ‘To’, ‘cc’ or ‘bcc’ line of your email. If you include our address in the ‘bcc’ line, no one will see us copied, if you put us in the ‘cc’ line everyone will see us copied. The choice is yours. You may also forward emails sent previously to the same address.

The email address is: la@ctcarry.com

There is nothing more you need to do; your email will automatically be cataloged in our database.

Privacy:

We will not sell or otherwise distribute the emails or other information from the archive. Please be advised, however, that when you send an email or other correspondence to a legislator in Connecticut, that correspondence is public information per the FOI act. Connecticut Carry advises people use caution in what they disclose to legislators and therefore our legislative email archive as they should consider all emails to legislators public information. We are not required to disclose your information or emails, but if needed, we may release counts, topics or mine the emails for valuable letter assistance for other members to use in their correspondence.

If you can trust your elected representatives with the emails, you can definitely trust Connecticut Carry. Not only will your voice be heard, but it will also be counted and used against those who seek to strip us of our rights.

Connecticut Carry is dedicated to advancing and protecting the fundamental civil rights of the men and women of Connecticut to keep and bear arms for defense of themselves and the state as guaranteed by the United States Constitution and the Constitution of Connecticut.
