Fight for your 2nd Amendment rights Jan 19th Olympia

Saturday the 19th at the State Capital, high noon, bring pro 2A signs and your family and friends.

If you care about your rights show up its a few hours on one weekend to preserve your rights.

I will be there all the way from Spokane. I have a crew cab pickup that I can offer a FREE ride to 4 others from Spokane. If I get more than 4 I can take my Suburban and take 6 or so.

    More details to follow.

What is the plan? There is one planned for next month too. Is this organized or just you saying we should go?

This is a show of numbers to let the legislatures know how many people are against more gun laws. Target a bill with the sign you bring.

What times? Dang, this'll overlap the planned OCDO Kitsap meet-up.

I'll try to be there as long as the kitsap people decide to go to Olympia though...

I should be able to make it, are there any restrictions against open carry to be aware of?

No, open carry is legal in Washington, even at the steps of the capitol building.

I understand open carry is legal and where but some of the posts on another thread made it sound like people were not going to be open carrying.

this is OCDO, we don't cover up...

Why don't we conduct a scientific poll of OCDO members on if they will "conceal" their guns at a rally to avoid offending an outside group...

I am not anti Cop I am just pro Citizen.

Well said Bob. This is nothing I planned I just started the thread to let everyone know.

I posted on Spokane Gun Trader as well.

We need to have several thousand show up to make an impression and to stop new legislation.

I expect to be in Olympia several times this year to attend hearings. If I can make it from Spokane and either have a really really long day driving back and forth or spending the money to stay over night surely you people that live in the Seattle area can show up a few times. Take a vacation day iif you need to but show up if you value your 2nd A rights or Section 1 Article 24 state rights. Its now or never folks.

I personally had 1 immediate thought, simple, 2 words, but then remembered we will probably be on camera. I would hope everyone would keep it neat and keep it clean and keep it relevant.

That was my concern, I don't want to come off as a nut just someone concerned for my rights. I almost do not want to bring a sign "less is more"?

is it just going to start on the capitol campus?
