I'm confused ..

is he claiming that both of us are seriously rude and unwelcoming ...
... or ...
is he claiming that you, mr nap, are both seriously rude and unwelcoming
??

oh well .. doesn't really matter, I don't feel like being the English Language Grammer (national socialist party member) today

Nice translation on my comment peter, you got it pretty much perfect ...

However, my apologies go out to those who are lacking both a sense of humor and a thick skin

I wasn't sure Scouser but I figured further discussion was useless.

For the record in case he's still reading, Scouser is one of the most gentleman like people here, has a CHP and doesn't flaunt it.

I on the other hand, can be rude and unwelcoming the the extreme. I wasn't tonight though.

I'm actually glad. I hate for members here to pay gouge prices and that's what I'm asking.

After your report this morning, I am a believer.

Did you say you still had some 5.56mm available at only $1.00/round? Might be a bit higher than what the dealers were asking, but you have some and they don't.

stay safe.

The line at the gun show this morning was probably the longest line I have ever seen. I've stood the length of the building to get in before, but this was twice that. I didn't bother to go in there.

I worked the VCDL table for the afternoon shift. Folks were coming in a steady stream until just about 3:45 PM, when the line actually slacked off for a minuite or two, then it picked up again. There were about 26 memberships taken, mostly new folks ,along with a few renewals. The NRA folks did 300-some-odd memberships. The ticket windows were closed at 4:30 but there were folks coming in at 4:50 who wanted to get in.

Was there anybody there not wearing a GSL sticker?

stay safe.

No Skid, I don't think there was a single person in the place (Door Trolls aside:mad:) who was not wearing a GSL sticker.
I was impressed!

I wasn't... =(

Only because I got there at 4pm and made a quick dash into the tables to find what I needed... got my rear sight and ambidextrous end plate for my AR, but I still need a single-point sling and case. >_<

Happened only because we ran out of GSL strickers to give out.

Well-meaning folks may want to either re-think the strategy* or lay in adequate supplies ahead of time.

Some replenishment was made for Sunday, but nowhere near the level of Saturday will be possible.

stay safe.

* - it was a modification of the tactics of a certain red-headed individual usually seen at the shows North of the Ni.

Last day of the gunshow was darn near as hectic as the first.
Those new door trolls they're using to zip tie the guns were annoying mut I was my usual tolerant self.:uhoh:

I sold my last upper, then went to Greentops and bought a 308 barrel for my Encore.

While I was at the show, I renewed my VCDL membership even though I never got a renewal form:mad:

I did not renew any of the other memberships I pay for. I signed one up for the NRA because they seem to be on the right side of this and I had a couple of renewal fees looking for a place to go. I also donated another $25.00 +$5.00 for good measure, to a hunting forum.

I spent some time with one of the Board Members explaining my feelings on a few of the bills coming up and discussing lobby day.

Last, I ordered a scope for the New Encore barrel.

Thank you Obama for all the new guns and barrels you've given me at no cost, the last two weeks!

It was amazing Tess and Sunday too.
Dennis and I were talking yesterday about lobby day looking like the show.

So now you have a close guess as to how many folks walked through the doors.

WTVR (Richmond Channel 6) said there were almost 1,000 at the show. That might have been the count around noon. http://wtvr.com/2013/01/13/busy-saturday-for-gun-show-in-richmond/ The reportologist who came in about 2PM wanting to film inside said they had done lots of shots of folks outside, and commented on everybody wearing GSL stickers. Strange how the only picture used puts someone wearing a sticker in the background.

The other two TV stations and the local fish wrapper ignored the event entirely.

I guess what happened does not match with their vision of reality.:(

stay safe.
