Spokane OC donut fest, Saturday, Jan 26th

Date change to the 26th to accommodate the Olympia event.

We are overdue for a face to face. Let's take care of that.

Same place, Donut Parade on Hamilton Ave, 9 AM.

    See you there.

I would love to be there, but plan on being close to Olympia by that time next Saturday. Maybe the next Sat would work out better.

I am OK with that as well Bob. Let's get feedback from a couple more before I reschedule.

Bob, you are a little to subtle. Let's go ahead and change the date to the 26th. I can't seem to change the thread title, but will do my best to communicate the date change.

Wait until I tell the people at work I am subtle, although I think they already know. Some have even said subtle is my middle name, or is that, subtle isn't my middle name?? Well, whatever, I should be able to make the 26th.

I want to wish all my friends going to Olympia this weekend safe travel and a thank you for representing. Wish I could join you.

On another note, I have invited SCSO Deputy Mark Gregory to join us at Donut Parade next weekend. He is very accepting of the OC community and hopefully will be able to attend.

    See you all then!

    Bump to the top.

It was interesting standing at the capital and protesting.
We need to plan, and carry out, a couple of events in Spokane this year. Give it a thought this week and we can discuss Saturday.

Let me make a short, opening, blanket statement. There are no good guns. There are no bad guns. Any gun in the hands of a bad man is a bad thing. Any gun in the hands of a decent person is no threat to anybody - except bad people.

I intend to be there, but might be a bit late. 0900 sure is early on a Saturday.

I have invited Mike Fagan, he has a resolution to be presented at the Feb. 4 council meeting.

Thank you to everyone who showed up today, we had an amazing turnout of around 30 people! I am sorry that I did not get to see or say hi to everyone, but I hope you all had a good time and made some new friends.

Nice getting to chat with you, Ben!

I agree, it was a great turn out! So much so I think we should consider a different meeting location next time. Donut Parade was pretty cramped! Any ideas?

I too, want to thank those who took time out of their day to show up. We have a lot of things going on with the city and I will post a separate link.
The number of people we had today was exceptional, prior to this we have only had 8 to10 at the most. If we have another meeting of more people, then yes we will look for another place.
Any and all ideas are more than welcome.
