As things go, you have to file and wait. And then do it all over again next session. Since this has been seen before, it should move faster. Hopefully.

Yep, it has to go to committee in the house, then vote by the house, committe in the senate, vote by the senate, it all that goes, then sign by the Gov. Then it will be law. Lavender said on his Facebook page, that he thinks it will pass this time.

Both Senate and House are out of session until Monday, so nothing is going to happen this week.

HB700 moved to the House Committee today, at least there is some movement on it.
