If this were true then provide the evidence. The writer does cite the law that "prohibits" the BATF&E goons from "collecting" the data from paper 4473s and likely e4473s as well.

If it is the writer's opinion as it seems it is, then state as much to alleviate confusion.

Please do not misunderstand. I have long been a proponent of the Form 4473 requirement as a defacto national gun registration program. In fact, some continue to contend that the law that prohibits the collection of data is proof that the goons do not collect the data because it is against the law to do so.

Now that e4473 is becoming more widely used I contend that the writer's opinion, in my opinion, is coming closer to be shown as a fact. Though I have no proof, today, as to my veracity of my contention.

4473, in any form, is a national gun registration process for retail gun transactions. Private transactions are a endangered species (EmE).
