Hey all. First post here.
I'm trying to find out where I could get a CCW class taken care of.

I don't have the money for 160$ Hyatt class and Shooters Express in Belmont is full.
Would prefer to find a sub 100$ class. Money is tight and I need to save every dollar I can.

What are my options are here?

Try him that's where I as well as my girlfriend and many friends, took our class. He's a retired police officer and the last friend that took his class was charged 65$.

Another option would be to carry your pistol openly - an action that requires no special privilege card.

It does require alot of explaining to scared liberals and LEO's when they've come to investigate you tho...

I've open carried in the past and it was not fun. a lot of inquiry from LEO why I would need to be carrying a firearm.
I'd rather not deal with the hassle. CCW is much easier.

Thanks for the reply's everyone.

I'm in the same boat, as far as looking for CCW around charlotte, if you find something you like or need more people for the class let me know, if not ill be trying these other options. And for me, its not that I do not want to OC, i just want to have both options, and never hafta worry in winter if my sweater drops over sidearm, and not having to worry about putting it on my seat/dash in the car.

On another note, I would also love to hear some of your experiences in Charlotte OC'ing, as in LEO hassling you, what you did, and the outcome. Thanks
