Friday, 8feb13 @ 10am is a peaceful 2nd Amendment rally/demonstration at all state capitols at 10AM Local Time.View attachment MT_2ndright_poster.pdf

I am the ad hoc organizer for Montana. I am an NRA-RTBAV instructor, and will have several display tables on the North side of the Capitol, in the area by the statue of General Meagher (between 6th Avenue and the Capitol). I will have several display tables with NRA info, pro-Second Amendment posters, and crime prevention literature. Please bring signs, good cheer, and, as emphaisized below; no guns on Capitol property.http://forum.opencarry.org/forums/images/smilies/cool.png

I have a permit (i.e., use of...) for the Capitol Grounds from 9AM-11AM that day. We cannot gather in the Rotunda (another group will be in the Rotunda during this time slot. But Capitol Support Services told me today that we can go over our time (9-11AM) without an issue being made of it. I also have arranged for the noise permit, and am looking at renting a small PA and podium.

Who would you like as speakers? So far, I'm just doing a brief intro' for the rally and I might have a friend who is a master gunsmith speak briefly. We could take turns at the mike. I will be contacting legislators and the MT Republican party for other possible speakers.

VERY IMPORTANT: No weapons on the Capitol grounds, loaded or unloaded--none, period. So you can open carry around the Capitol ( for our purposes: the Capitol Grounds lie between 6th Avenue, Broadway, Roberts, and N. Montana). If we have Party RedfrontKämpferbund who come to harass us or vandalize our signage, etc. We {I] will call the Capitol officials; they have assured me that they will respond quickly if we have trouble. Plus, who would you bet on, a group of real Americans or some nutjob, Marxist skollies?

Only other rules are common sense: be clean & neat, demonstrate but don't incite to riot or otherwise stir up trouble. If Progressives bother us; we deal with them, with tact, diplomacy, and group solidarity.

Hope to see you all there. PM me for any questions.

Wish I could join you in actual participation. As I can't, I will support you in thought and prayer.
