Should gun owners be required to have liability insurance?

No. All this would do is penalize legal gun owners for acting lawfully. (Criminals wouldn't insure.) Most victims of gun violence are suicides and, obviously, wouldn't collect.

How can anyone collect? Unless the gun discharges by its own actions .. which it cannot.

They are getting these bills from other countries with different civil rules.
