Back in 2013 it was brought to the city of Yelms attention that the signs in the park saying "no weapons were allowed" violated State Preemption. During a council meeting back then it was acknowledged, and agreed to fix it. I recently attended the Yelm Family Fun Day, and noticed the sign has not been fixed. I know times are hard, but even a piece of duct tape could fix it. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
