BDN dropped request for ccw info...New group filed foia for same info!

Just got off the phone with my state rep Gary Plummer(District 111 Windham), a co-sponsor for the emergency legislation to make private all ccw permit holder data, and was informed that another group has stepped in and filed a foia request for the same info the BDN had requested. I can't remember the name of the group, but I'm sure someone with more time then I have right now can verify.

Write a foia request to find out ... it takes 10 seconds

I'm sure it'll take them longer to respond than it will for the bill to pass and the request to be voided. LePage is a friggin gorilla, but at least he's very pro 2A!

Looks like this is good news...

Wish it were a permanent basis!

I'm sure it will be once it's up for another vote in April.
