Ahhh, you were going after that area. yes, adding an AFG will make it an AOW. I thought you were just implying that an AR Pistol met AOW status.

And I just reread your first post and see where I made a leap (as underlined), but that you had stipulated conditions for which I hadn't noted.

That also makes it an AOW with a $200 registration for manufacturing one, does it not?

There is an exception under current law. It has to do with overall length of the device. The "at least 26 inches" rule coupled with not concealing it makes it not a rifle, not a pistol, it is a "firearm". I love it when a plan comes together. Keep a letter from ATF in the case and you are good.
