Open carry at henderson parks with schools right next to them

Is open carry or concealed carry legal at henderson parks that have schools next to them or that are adjoining? My son has baseball practice at Mission Hills park and was wondering if I could carry.

Yes you can. The only "law" against it is Federal and it is not enforced on the local level. I carry in the local parks on a regular basis and most of them are adjacent to schools. We had our last two OC picnics in Morrell park and it is adjacent to a school. Carry away.

Confirmed. Carry on!

Since you are asking about concealed as an option, do you have the required permit to do so? If so, this exempts you from that Federal law also, even if you choose to open carry.
