Do you carry concealed and drop the kids off at school in WV? If so, you probably realize your firearm must be unloaded before entering school property. This creates unnecessary firearm handling, or simply frustrates some law abiding citizens enough to go unarmed, leaving themselves and their children defenseless. WVCDL has authored HB 2560, which will allow concealed carry on school grounds by permit holders. The WVCDL website provides a link to the WV Legislature where the full text can be read.

Again, if you have never contacted your legislatures before, there is an "Action Alert" at the top of the link provided detailing what needs to happen in order for this legislation to get the vote it deserves.
