Poll: Should the CT Governor try to ram through gun control legislation?

Please share around. It would be good to make this a resounding answer.

I voted no, but it might be better than the legislature doing it, which they will. Being a dictator better shows that we are victims of discrimination. If the legislature does it, then it was the "will of the people". Which is bullshiite many people, even progun people on this forum, scoop up and devour.
“If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind? ” -Bastiat

I don't "need" to openly carry a handgun or own an "assault weapon" any more than Rosa Parks needed a seat on the bus.

He is trying to 'make' the legislature do it. So nothing would be gained from his push.

Governors don't make laws. They just wish they did.
