I just registered on here today so I am new here, sorry in advance if this question has been answered elsewhere as I couldn't seem to find a yes or no to my question.
I live in Michigan, and will be heading south in a couple weeks to West Virginia, I will be traveling through the state of Indiana, only stopping for gas/food ect.
I have my Michigan CPL and wondered if I am able to carry concealed in my vehicle, or if I need to carry open in my vehicle? and what are the procedures once I am out of my vehicle?
I tried to find some info on the internet but didn't have much luck. I actually called the Indiana state police, I explained my plans to the person over the phone, they said even though I have a Michigan CPL, I would still have to unload my pistol and separate it from the ammo while in my vehicle?
Thanks in advance for any insight on this, as it doesn't seem like that would be correct.
