The legislative commissioner's office is an agency that examines the constitutionality of bills prior to them getting to the floor for a vote.

So we could write to the LCO commissioners and attnys and argue that provisions of the bill are unconstitutional. I would back this up with case law.

Miller and Heller I are great to cite as they are current, undisputed SCOTUS case law.

Now that's the outside of the box approach I've been waiting to see! Good Job digging this avenue up. Lets hope this branch of government actually references case law and most importantly, the constitution.

The only downside? They're lawyers and don't know the law.
