Veterans Administration says it won't follow New York gun law.

    http://www.sfgate.com/news/us/articl...aw-4345316.php
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — The federal Department of Veterans Affairs said Monday its mental health professionals won't comply with a new gun law in New York that requires reporting the names of patients they believe likely to hurt themselves or others.

That provision is set to take effect Saturday
I was not able to verify the report for VA.gov using a corrupt CA.

Could this be because the VA already has in place a plan to report vets, and to strip teir RKBA via conservatorship/payee administrative actions?

I'm not providing cites because a simple Google search shoud bring up thousands of hits. It's been in the news for months.

    stay safe.

NRA-ILA: Veterans Administration Overdoses on Anti-Gun Prescription

In this instance, the anti-gun message comes from the Department of Veterans Affairs' Office of the Medical Inspector and Geriatrics and Extended Care Strategic Healthcare Group. The VA's statements appear in a pamphlet called "Firearms and Dementia," [http://www.va.gov/vhapublications/Vi...p?pub_ID=1186] which, the name of the pamphlet notwithstanding, is directed at anyone who has a child, in addition to people who are responsible for individuals suffering from decreased mental acuity.
