• We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. It will be worth it! :) Please help by posting all issues here.
  • The forum will be down for about an hour this weekend for maintenance. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Does a trainer have any legal liability or responsibility for the conduct of persons provided training?

Under the statute a person providing training in good faith is immune from liabilityarising from any act or omission related to the course if the course is one listedunder the statute.

Wis. Stat. § 175.60(21)(d); Wis. Stat. § 175.49(6).

However, there may be circumstances where such liability may exist and adiscussion of such situations is beyond the scope of this brief legal summary.

From the forum FAQ

If there are particular members that bother you and you do not want to see their posts or receive Private Messages and Emails from them, then you can add these members to your 'Ignore List'. This is one way to do it

I have found one of the forum features very helpful, in dealing with some of the irritations that can reduce the education value and enjoyment this forum can offer:

Go to your setting option on the very top of the forum page, or...

http://forum.opencarry.org./forums/usercp.php

Then choose "Edit Ignore List"

below "Add a Member to Your List..."

Then type the user name into the empty text box and click "Okay"
(If you type slowly, the forum will help you with possible user names that match what you have entered)
