OCers told to leave local Walmarts. What's the deal?

Another trip without incident. The rather large 'securitas' up front noticed (or someone else did and let him know), so he took a little walk over near the register. I looked at him, down at his empty strong side, and did a little chuckle. He walked off. :p

Unarmed security isn't security, IMO.

I feel for you. We try to keep our visits to the insane asylums to a bare minimum.

We had dropped to maybe one or two visits a month to not shopping there anymore.

Prices are comparable to elsewhere, quality has declined drastically, cleanliness of the store is a joke, more and more rude/untrained employees and idiotically long lines (1 or 2 registers open) of 20 or more.

Couple that with a cashier giving my wife a hard time with a manufacturer coupon (directly and loudly calling her and the coupon suspicious) I see no reason to support the joke that is Walmart any longer with our $$$.

My biggest gripe is their carts. I think they intentionally grind flat edges on the wheels so they all make that annoying noise.

You don't like the sound of a train going down cold tracks? (click, click, click, clack...click, click, click, clack...click, click, click, clack...click, click, click, clack...) :)

takes me longer to find a cart than it does to shop.... ;) Me to the wife: Nope, not that one. Nope, not that one either...nope....nope...nope

I've gone into WM [from the range] with a drop-leg 92F and 3 mags in the weak side mag-pouches with nary a stare.

Only had one incident at a Wal Mart and that was back before eye95 became a Yankee and moved to Ohio. I was in my local Wally World yesterday, walked right past the deputy sheriff at the entrance with only a "Hi, how are you?" exchanged, did my shopping, and left. Only other stores I go to for groceries are one closer to home that I walk to and a large Asian market. Neither store has ever been a problem. In fact, because of the location of the Asian market, I won't go there unarmed.

Well VA Beach/Norfolk Walmart are A-OK with OC it seems. Last time I was in wally world 4 cops were escorting someone (shop lifter?) Out as they passed me. Glanced at my hip with nothing but a nod.

Also saw a few Walmart employees in suit and tie with name tags, managers maybe, look right at my hip and ask if I was finding everything OK.

I try to spend my money with small local businesses as well whenever possible. Sometimes Walmart comes in handy tho. But yea, no apparent OC issues here in VA
