SB 1076 & others of the public safety commitee are dead - deadline is past

The PSS deadline is tomorrow and they have not noticed any meeting, so all the bills not yet out of committee are dead.

So it leaves just an e-cert process left ...

1000% yes. Recall the legislator who told us where they got 1076 --- right from CT mayor's consul -- they just slapped their name on it and shot it up the flag pole to keep something as a "place holder".

Now they think that a e-cert task force bill will be puked out, so 1076 can die. Plus they can say that they "had plenty of hearings". BS

The GOP leadership must be asleep at the wheel ... if they agree to ANY single proposal out of the task force now; they are fools. Right now the legislature has nothing to propose.

On 5 MAR - 2 proposals came out of the task force (supposed to be one)

Now, after the PSS committee dead-deadlines have past, why would the GOP do anything?

Perhaps the GOP strung the demorats along until they could not move bill 1076 any further and intended on letting loose the ave on any single proposed bill out of the task force until such time.

But its more likely that a single proposal will come out the the task force, that back-room deals and illegal meetings ...

Then what is the option, besides calling legislators and trying to get them to vote no .. recalling that you would have to swing a considerable # of votes - both democrats and GOP ?
