Thumbs up Namby pambies obliterated on gun control in Senate!

The vote on Manchin-Toomey was 56-44! I have been watching live on C-SPAN.

Edit: 60 votes were needed by the Marxist control freaks.

It will be tabled, for now.

I don't mind watching the OC-Community (tea party 2.0's, who have hijacked the OC-Community) cannibalize itself. I do mind watching OC dragged through the gutter. OC is an exercise of A Right. I choose to not OC; I choose to not own firearms. I choose to leave the OC-Community to it's own self-inflicted injuries, and eventual implosion. Carry on...

Your words echo in my mind like the end of a horror movie. We think it's all over but it's not.

This battle is won ... but they could vote on it later. There are also amendments for the AWB and high cap magazine bans, though those are expected to fail by considerable margins. I wonder what they will do with the universal reciprocity amendment - that vote is expected to be close.

I am jumping for joy that some people in DC finally displayed some good sense!

Per the BBC..."Plans for a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines have already been removed from the gun-control bill, amid lack of political support."

All these liberals ... 20 kids died last year ...ooooo

How about thousands of kids (and kids who grow up) killed by the Gov't if all their anti-leg were to pass.
