I am traveling from California (I no longer have the right to open carry in my own state), but will be running back and forth from Kingman, AZ to Laughlin, NV this weekend. It is my understanding that in AZ, I can legally open carry a handgun, loaded, a round chambered. I intend to carry on my motorcycle as I travel between locations. Can I do so in Laughlin as well? Will I be lawful in traveling between the two points in that manner? I saw something about Clark Country, but wasn’t clear if that impacts the situation at all. Any input is appreciated.

You are good to go in both AZ and NV. In fact, in AZ you can conceal carry. Make sure you check where you can and can't carry over there though
while concealed.

You are good to go in these free states. I might even see you there. I'll have a big stainless revolver with red, white, and blue grips; riding a black Buell.

TBG,
Thank you for the information.

MAC,
I will be bringing my Black V-Rod out. Wish I had a unique sidearm to define, but the SR9 works for me none-the-less. Hope to see you there. I will keep an eye out.

Most of the vendors in the Laughlin casinos parking lots do have security and will tell you firearms are not allowed on their property. Other than that, you are good to go. I was asked to leave a few years ago.
I plan to be there this weekend with some friends not wanting to make a seen for the group I will be CCing.

I am not looking for stress. If they ask me to leave... I will walk away. I would just rather have than not have. Thanks for the heads-up though.

Ha, what are you supposed to do? Lock it in your car?

I'll be there on Friday.

I saw a few Metro cops, but not many. I was concealed while on private property, and OC'd for the trip down and back, including the main street next to several cops. No issues at the Terrible Herbst in Searchlight, either, but I wasn't there very long anyway.

I'm thinking about going back tomorrow, but wouldn't have a riding partner or anyone to hang with, so probably won't.

It looked like it was just starting to get rocking when I left. But I had a good time and saw lots of cool bikes, including the ones that are only worth making fun of.
