Not 100% on topic, but not too far astray...
The Free Lance-Star has printed several LTEs in the past few days. The letters themselves are fairly normal, either right or wrong, but they do seem to try to print stuff from both points of view. However, for your entertainment pleasure, take a look through some of the comments.
There are a handful of "regular" anti-gun folks, and wow, I'm telling you, they are 100% certified lunatics. It's almost a relief that the opposition is so crazy, the fence-sitters read their stuff and know exactly how bat-crazy they are... I think they are actually helping us.
A couple of the more heavily-commented letters:
Jefferson, Gandhi saw importance of guns
Gun bill made sense. Why didn't it pass?
Gun legislation was defeated because it was flawed
