The Local Govt. and Public Bodies (S000) has publicly posted a Solicitation on eVA. A summary of the Solicitation is provided below:
Solicitation IFB: S000-QQ-01798 Version: 1 Amendment#: 0
The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a qualified Architectural and Engineering (AE) team with specific experience in the design and construction administration of firing ranges to design an indoor range for the Loudoun County Sheriff?s Office. The facility will be located in Leesburg, Virginia, Parcel Identification Number (PIN) 235-17-7001. The facility is anticipated to be approximately 75,000 GSF (subject to available construction funding). The successful offeror will demonstrate excellent management skills and technical expertise in order to: ? Produce detailed and fully coordinated architectural and engineering designs, construction drawings and specifications; ? Obtain any necessary approvals and permits from the County of Loudoun including the Loudoun County Department of Building & Development, and all other authorities having jurisdiction; ? Present schematic designs and descriptions of work to be accomplished to Community and user group; ? Develop fully coordinated construction and bid documents for the construction of a state of the art range; and ? Provide construction administration services. The AE shall develop a unique design for the firing range and deliver a fully functioning building based on the Pre-Design Program provided by the County in Attachment II and based on Attachments I ? VI.
