    Charged for "unregistered" firearm?????

I know the below link is about a dumb a$$ making bombs, but the last line that reads "King is charged with possession of a firearm which is not registered to him in the national firearms registration and transfer record" really confused me.

The definition of "firearm" for the National Firearms Act includes suppressors and destructive devices like some "bombs."

It does not include standard rifles, pistols, and shotguns.

I think it was DESIGNED to confuse people.

Well, it worked on me. Very misleading. Thanks for the explanation.
