Establishment Republicans suck more for their inconsistency than for what they say

Establishment Republicans (putting aside theocratic religious musings and anti-liberty policies derived therefrom, such as the so-called war on drugs) actually say a lot of great things:

  • "The federal government should be kept small." [Except these lying scumbags create things like DHS and make the military orders of magnitude larger than it needs to be because of their PROGRESSIVE desire to help out the downtrodden all over the world.]
  • "Government should not be a jobs program." [Except these tards don't really mean that when it comes to the military-industrial complex, because as soon as you talk about cutting defense [sic] spending, they shriek like a liberal about all of the jobs that will be lost.]
  • "Union thuggery is bad and should be prosecuted." [Except these bastards laud union thuggery when police unions get the absolute worst dregs of society off the hook after they commit all manner of sick, twisted deeds against a cowering populace.]
  • "Handouts are bad, and people should be more self-reliant." [Except they don't mean that when it comes to handouts for Israel, South Korea, Japan, and other countries that barely lift a finger to defend themselves without the help of this country; indeed, neoconservatism is not conservative by any stretch of the imagination, and is nothing more than an international extension of the welfare state.]
  • "The free market is good, and should be preserved." [Except they practice crony capitalism and give bailouts and subsidies to their buddies in "too big to fail" corporations.]
  • "The Second Amendment should be respected." [Except legendary hero of mainstream Republicans, Ronald Ray Gun, was behind the nonsense of 1986, neocon darling Dumbya talked about signing an extenion of the AWB in 2004, and McCain and other establishment Republicans voted for Toomey-Manchin.]

They say great things, and then miserably fail to consistently apply these things. Then, they have the nerve to insult and threaten people who do consistently apply these principles (Ron Paul, Jesse Ventura, et al. and their fans). F--k them.
