I was listening to a talk radio show yesterday morning where the subject was about a 5 year old who brought his toy cap revolver that he got at some amusement park to kindergarten to show his friends. He was removed from class, interrogated for two hours by a police officer and wet his pants, then given a 10 day suspension. This was in Calvert County, MD. A caller related a similar story where his young son was riding to school on a school bus, just before last Christmas. He was talking to a friend about what happened at Sandy Hook and said he wished someone had had a gun to stop the bad guy. The driver heard this conversation, told school officials and the little boy was taken directly to the office and detained. A sheriff's deputy arrived and soon the father showed up. The sheriff asked a battery of questions and then said he wanted to inspect the father's home for guns. The father called his wife to alert her to the fact that the police were going to show up.
The man actually let the police into his home to check things and then the sheriff deputy sat with the father at the kitchen table asking a bunch of questions to the point of the father requesting he leave. The deputy didn't like that too much but left.
Yes, the man should not have allowed the deputy into his home in the first place, should not have answered questions, and should have stood his ground against this horrendous behavior. He knew better but since he was military (not sure if former or active), he "followed orders".
This sort of thing in public schools is totally out of control. The nuts began running the institutions years ago and have gotten so extreme, it is almost comical. A SNL skit couldn't be this ridiculous. Pediatricians and family doctors asking if there are guns in the house. Children being asked if their parents have guns. CPS believing they are above the law and demanding to inspect homes for guns. All of this is beyond nonsense.... it is crazy. But it's far worse than crazy... it's a deliberate and a sinister plan to turn firearms into tobacco. Make them to be viewed as socially unacceptable along with their owners. Turn us into social pariah, misfits.... miscreants not worthy of being members of a civilized society.
The foxes moved into the hen house years ago and this is one of the results of their habitation. The sleeping giant is getting smaller by the day. Socialism is on the march and before long, there won't be enough of us to stop it.
