    State Police Carry

Pretty sure I haven't missed it. But nothing prohibits carry in MSP departments correct?

AFAIK you are correct. I've carried in the Alfred Barracks once.

Going to use this same topic.

So, due to reasons as I won't explain, I'd like to take photos of MSP vehicles on MSP property. I know I can legally OC while taking said photos but.... does anyone know of a law that would deny me the ability to take said photos? I would assume it would fall under 1st amendment being in the course of police duties. Not positive though. Maybe someone can shed some light. Can they ask me to leave if I'm not causing a commotion?

If the photos are taken from an area where the public is allowed to be, then you're covered under 1A. If you sneak onto MSP property that's not open to the public to take said photos, then you can be trespassed.

Thanks. Open parking lot in front of a troop that you have to walk through to get to the front door.
