Exclamation Everyone's HELP needed...Santa Fe New Mexico proposing mag ban!

Here in Santa Fe New Mexico they are trying to pass a high capacity mag ban (influenced by NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s gun control coalition) and we need the support of everyone, not just those who live here to help stop this infringement upon our rights. I don't want to see New Mexico fall into the same deep dark hole that Colorado recently fell into.

Please read these brief articles and take a few moments to visit the last link and sign the petition, your support is greatly appreciated!

New Mexico does have state constitutional preemption of firearms laws, so local governments may not restrict the possession or use of firearms.

In 1986, Article 2, Section 6 of the state constitution was amended to say, "No law shall abridge the right of the citizen to keep and bear arms for security and defense, for lawful hunting and recreational use and for other lawful purposes, but nothing herein shall be held to permit the carrying of concealed weapons. No municipality or county shall regulate, in any way, an incident of the right to keep and bear arms."

However, if this gets passed (albeit unconstitutional as it is), due to the unconstitutional nature of this bill it will be tied up in legal battles indefinitely, a long and expensive legal battle which the gun owners of Santa Fe or New Mexico can ill afford to pursue.

Be sure to add your voice to the petition, and take the time to email all of the city councilors listed in the linked list.

Should this bill pass, there will be a reason for gunnie tourists to pass through Santa Fe. Not only see the usual tourist sight, but receive a private tour of the city jail and enjoy gourmet dining in the company of the city's select. Memories of the trip to Santa Fe will be enhanced by viewing the copy of the settlement check hung over the mantle with pride.

    Bring it on!

    stay safe.

Spokane had a law that prohibited firearms in parks that they would not remove or change so we had a open carry picnic in the park.

If they pass this have a standard capacity...............errr I mean hi capacity magazine picnic in a local park or ?????????? BTW a local TV reporter called the Cops on us and they refused to come out, be not afraid that is what they are counting on.
Throw me to the wolves and I will come back leading the pack.

Santa Fe is a reflection of the thuggery of the machine that is their state government, as well as the arrogance of tourists. I am disappointed, but not surprised.
Answer every question about open carry in Michigan you ever had with one convenient and free book- http://libertyisforeveryone.com/open-carry-resources/

The complete and utter truth can be challenged from every direction and it will always hold up. Accordingly there are few greater displays of illegitimacy than to attempt to impede free thought and communication.
