TSA looking for a firing range near LaGuardia Airport. Gov't. Security News 'Zine

"“The range rules shall allow shooters to draw and fire from the holster and from concealment,” explains the solicitation. “The range rules may not disallow a student from moving in front of the firing points with an instructor present, such as tactical move and shoot drills.”

The proposed indoor range must have 10-15 firing points and be available for block booking over time periods of 5-8 hours. It must also include, “a separate entrance/exit which will permit DHS personnel to enter/exit to the aforementioned 15 point area without interacting with the general public.”

Hmmmm. "Without interacting with the public?" Hmmmm.

On a libertarian blog, I saw recently a report that TSA is using dogs now. Talk about animal abuse--corrupt them into serf-chomping state agents.

None of this sounds very good.

I'll make you an offer: I will argue and fight for all of your rights, if you will do the same for me. That is the only way freedom can work. We have to respect all rights, all the time--and strive to win the rights of the other guy as much as for ourselves.

If I am equal to another, how can I legitimately govern him without his express individual consent?

There is no human being on earth I hate so much I would actually vote to inflict government upon him.

"Mama! Mama, look'it the fat lady with a gun!" "Move along now, there's nothing to see, or I'll bust you for obstructing."
