No you can not OC in CA. It depends on what type of gun that you are bringing in into CA if you can bring it in the state. The California sub-forum will have more information.
If it is a permanent move, I weep for you. AZ is much better the that 'concentration camp on the other side of the Colorado. The difference between AZ and CA is like the difference between West and East Germany when they existed.
There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible to live without breaking laws. AYN RAND

Read up on the laws there, if you do you want to do it right, if you travel the gun have to be unloaded in a lock case. If and when I go through there I will do that and when I get to the hotel I will load it in where me and my wife are staying, so when we do travel on the road I will have to lock it up. Look at your surrounding so you can see before trouble start and if you see it run.

Sadly in CA, there is a ban on having any sort of loaded or unloaded handgun, unless you are going hunting (have a permit, and in a hunting area). You get to be disarmed and at the mercy of all the criminals in CA. I wouldnt go to CA if they gave me a $billion (unless I could leave with the money afterwards).
