I'd call it a negligent INTENTIONAL act. It is a more serious violation in my mind that an UNINTENTIONAL negligent act!

Absolutely correct. It would be negligent, but not an accidental discharge.
Well, just put brass in w/ just a primer (no powder/bullet) ... they'll be looking for that bullet forever .... I've done that to hilarious effect .. antis have no clue what a discharge really sounds like ...
