Fear has always been our greatest threat. Fear from government thugs, fear from our neighbors, fear from the teens in the mall parking lot at night. Fear is the great divider. Of course those in power do not want a well armed and secure population. Why? Confident, self sufficient people aren't afraid. Hence, they are by nature difficult to control. Gun control = code speak for power control. "FEAR EVERYONE & EVERYTHING people, we your leaders, are all the protection you need.." :rolleyes:
