Racist thugs. To bad the jogger was not armed. It would have been fitting if he used a firearm to stop them.

Well, there was this colonel in Huber Heights that OCed while jogging. A certain retired police officer I know likes to brag about how he jacked him up for it.

So, outside of the usual risk of an encounter with a rogue cop, a firearm seems to be a doable jogging weapon.

A thigh holster would probably be the best choice.

Unless its corroborated by another media outlet, I'm gonna guess somebody jumped the gun or it was a hoax story.

In that exact situation, I would have lied... I would have said, Oh yeah, he is that poor child that was murdered by that Mexican in Florida!

Jogger was lucky to be alive in this case. Hope Feds go after hate crime charges against the three black men who allegedly committed this crime.

Have you ever jogged with a thigh holster? In shorts? In the heat? With your body sweating?

There a lots of chest rigs, as well as adaptations from binocular/camera chest rigs that keep a handgun quite accessable without needing to adjust your posture (bend over/down) to get that good combat grip.

Other folks like nylon duty belts and duty holsters because they not only stay in place well but because if they get sweat-soaked you can hose them off, dry them, and be good to go again.

I knew a lady who used her teenage son to drive the escort vehicle while her husband literally rode shotgun. (Yes, they had the Slow Moving Vehicle triangle mounted, four-ways activated, and even a permit for a roof-mounted rotating yellow light. Law abiding citizens, they were.)

There's always good ways, but rarely a best way (unless you are a USMC Drill Instructor, and then it's The Marine Corps Way even when that's the wrong way.)
