If the Governor signs the new CC law, will/how will it affect OC?

4166.4K335  272RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina lawmakers have approved a bill greatly expanding where concealed handguns are legally allowed.
The Republican-backed bill approved by both the House and Senate on Tuesday allows concealed-carry permit holders to take firearms into bars and restaurants and other places where alcohol is served as long as the owner doesn’t expressly forbid it.
The measure will also allow concealed-carry permit holders to store weapons in locked cars on the campus of any public school or university. Guns will also now be allowed on greenways, playgrounds and other public recreation areas.
The final bill dropped a controversial provision that would have repealed the long-standing law requiring a background check and permit issued by county sheriffs for handgun purchases.
The measure now heads to Republican Gov. Pat McCrory’s desk.

Have a look at the threads with HB 937 in the topic, once you get past the bickering, there are a few pieces of information on how it will affect. Basically on the OC front, not much change except for the clarifications on recreational facilities, parks, etc. Also on the PPP side there is some clarification for Sheriff's issuance. If you have a CHP, it opens up restaurants and places where admission is charged to OC and CC.

That's about my take on it. After this goes into effect, it will be time to start pinging the legislature to expand it to OC anywhere that CC is allowed, without the necessity of a CHP.
If something is wrong for ONE person to do to another, it is still wrong if a BILLION people do it.

If the cc sheep (cc permit holders who think its a "grey area") actually HEAR OC is legal from the horses mouth, how many more OCers do you think there will be.
