Did anyone go to the Sikh Temple 1 yr anniversary. I wonder if anyone of them got their CCL or have become part of WI Carry.

Any and all spelling errors are just to give the spelling Nazis something to do
News stories yesterday were that they have continued to focus on the crazy person's crazy behavior, as opposed to blaming inanimate objects for causing a tragedy.
The only anti-gun reference I could find was from the Illegal Mayors Against Gunz: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/l...,2751472.story
Even the US Senate managed to avoid the Gunz Are Bad connection: http://abclocal.go.com/wls/story?sec...sin&id=9192088The event Monday will take place at the temple and serve as both a remembrance event and an occasion to call for what one of the groups participating in the event, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, called "meaningful action to reduce gun violence nationwide."
Families of those killed in temple shootings will be joined by families of victims killed in other mass shootings, according to a release from Mayors Against Illegal Guns, as well as the mayors of Oak Creek and Milwaukee.
IIRC the Sihk were, shortly after the killings, discussing changing from an unsharpened, ceremonial kirpan to one with a sharp edge and a pointy end. The nice thing about CCW lists/registries is that they do not record the religious belief/background of the applicant. The resolution passed unanimously Wednesday night. It honors the memory of the six victims and offers condolences to their loved ones. It also commends the heroism of the emergency responders and community members who provided support.
