Did anyone go to the Sikh Temple 1 yr anniversary. I wonder if anyone of them got their CCL or have become part of WI Carry.

I think they are pushing hard the opposite way they have pushed for more gun control.

News stories yesterday were that they have continued to focus on the crazy person's crazy behavior, as opposed to blaming inanimate objects for causing a tragedy.

The only anti-gun reference I could find was from the Illegal Mayors Against Gunz: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/l...,2751472.story

The event Monday will take place at the temple and serve as both a remembrance event and an occasion to call for what one of the groups participating in the event, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, called "meaningful action to reduce gun violence nationwide."

Families of those killed in temple shootings will be joined by families of victims killed in other mass shootings, according to a release from Mayors Against Illegal Guns, as well as the mayors of Oak Creek and Milwaukee.

The resolution passed unanimously Wednesday night. It honors the memory of the six victims and offers condolences to their loved ones. It also commends the heroism of the emergency responders and community members who provided support.
IIRC the Sihk were, shortly after the killings, discussing changing from an unsharpened, ceremonial kirpan to one with a sharp edge and a pointy end. The nice thing about CCW lists/registries is that they do not record the religious belief/background of the applicant.

    stay safe.

Firearms. Do you have that article I can read? I'll have to contact them. Most people from India are oblivious to the constitution and favor more control thinking it will make things better/safer. My sister is one of them. They are doing it out of 'innocent ignorance.' However they are shrewd businessmen and I am surprised that they don't see results of oppressive corporate regulations and taxes.

Thanks for the info. They are historically the most militant of the peoples of India and will give their lives to stop being subjugated by others. They form the bulk of the Indian army along with the famous Gurkha s of Nepal.
