Proactive Shooters will be conducting an NRA Range Safety Officer class on Sunday, August 18, 2013. The class will be held in our Henrico office and the cost is $120.00 for the class.
NRA certified Range Safety Officers must be 21 years of age or older.
The Range Safety Officer course consists of:
Range Safety Officer’s roles and responsibilities
Range standard operating procedures
Range inspection and range rules
Firearm stoppages and malfunctions, and
Range Safety Briefings which include emergency procedures.
A student manual and other materials will be provided to each candidate. The class runs approximately 9 hours.
Candidates must score 90 percent or better on the written exam, administered after the class. Candidates must also participate in classroom discussion and exercises.
The cost for this certification class is $120.00. (Course fee does not include the NRA application processing / certification fee for this certification). Advance payment is required for this class.
