Why not post direct links to Midway and Brownells rather than links to concealncarry.net with (presumably) copied or linked content from those two sources?

That is a fair question. That would require multiple links from each as these video libraries which are great but buried in their sites private. This one location is like a search engine of Firearms info.

Please read the Forum Rules.

(14) LONG GUN CARRY IS OFF-TOPIC: This web site is focused on the right to openly carry properly holstered handguns in daily American life. We do NOT promote the carry of long guns. Long guns are great! OCDO co-founders John & Mike and most of the members of this forum own at least one long gun - but due to urban area issues of muzzle control, lack of trigger guard coverage, and the fact that the long gun carry issue distracts from our main mission to promote the open carry of handguns in daily life, we will leave long gun carry activism in the capable hands of the future founders of web sites about long gun carry.

Can stay in General Discussion insofar as the discussion does not gravitate to carrying long guns.

I was thinking of having an AR build party ...

That sounds cool. While we all have our favorite pistol (XDM.45) I find it interesting that a single
product like the AR-15 has turned into a new firearms favorite.

I was wondering if someone has actually counted how many ways you can customize it?

You could have that party and not a single person would end up with the save gun.

We have discovered a man's version of a Tupperware party ;)

With just 10 potential "options" on a "standard" configuration the posibilities are = 403,200

Add to that 4 different calibers and the result is a staggering 9,686,476,800.......that is over 9.5 BILLION w/no 2 alike.

Beyond that and many calculators respond with "Out of Range"/overload.

"This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine..........."
