I found USA's opinion discussion (http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2013/08/26/constitution-government-officials-privileges-column/2696945/ quite interesting yet not sure how to begin to address it to curb it or even eliminate the situation.

I remember former speaker of the house, Nancy Pelosi's dismay when she discovered she could no longer use 'insider' trading information (against the law for ordinary citizens) to assist w/her amassing of a fortune.

Finally, the corruption within the political arena has become quite public and in the open and the politicians flaunt it.

just a thought...

Think this article is more generic than RKBA related, though guns are mentioned - hence moved it from General Discussion.

Seems like classic Animal Farm (cloven hooves are best) being described all over again.

Not disputing directly the thinking.
