    Dinner at Lucky's 14 Sep

Hey everyone, I'm thinking we should have a get together at Lucky's bar/restaurant near cimarron and farm road. It is near Durango and 95 up north. I know it's a little short notice, but I figured I'd give it a go anyway. Who's down?

As of now, it looks like I could make it. What time are you thinking?

That's kind of another reason why I posted, was to see what time works best for everyone. I know it is going to be far for a few people. And some people have things to do the next morning like church or whatever so I figure it shouldn't be too late. Personally I'm available anytime. What works for you?

Ok. Be advised that it is a bar (we'll be in the restaurant part), so I'm pretty sure this will be an adult only gtg

Not yet. So far it's you, me, Mrs doofster, 28kfps, and Mac. I'm thinking 6? Unless that is too late for 28kfps to drive back to pahrump...

6 works for us. We can have some wiggle room on the time if needed, but not too much wiggle.

It took a few clicks, but I'm guessing this is the place: http://www.yellowpages.com/las-vegas...2?lid=13913392

I should be able to make it.

    That's it!

For those not familiar with this area, I suggest:

    95 North >
    Durango North (right) >
    Farm Right (east)
and you'll see it on your right just about a mile down at the intersection of Farm and Cimarron. Lucky's is next to the gas station on the corner.

    Wish I could make it....

I invited another guy named Alex I met at discount firearms today. I told him about the site so hopefully he pops in to get directions!

Had a great time even though I was disappointed in my sandwich. I'll definitely get pizza next time instead

Great to meet you folks. I'm sure I'll be posting in the future, after I've had time to catch up on what's in here . I didn't stick for the food because I didn't want to be in the way while you folks ate. Now, if there was Pizza... heh heh j/k

Had a great Visit. Met two new persons. The wings were good. Turns out I knew of MAC702 30 or so years ago. Small world.

    Gun Dissasembly 2

As promised, here is some info on the program I showed at Lucky's. Since it's available across multiple platforms, here is a video showing the basics that I dug up, poor as the quality is.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPS3a246hcU

    http://www.google.com/#q=gun%20disassembly%202

Keep in mind, this isn't a game; it's a training tool that shows in excruciating detail: the parts, functions, complete step-by-step disassembly/assembly and mechanical procedures involved in TONS of different firearms.

It offers full 360/zoom, slow motion, multi "x-ray" views of the parts in motion (to observe the sequence of operation) and more!

Should probably be in the general forum [and may well be!] so... If anyone wants to post it there, it's cool!

Why aren't the guns on the table? JUST KIDDING!

Do you have any pics of everyone where you can see that they are oc? Would be awesome to have and then frame it for the proprietor's wall. ???

Again, sorry I couldn't make it. Who's who in the pic?

PS: Yep, the pizza is by far the best thing on the menu...and it's gooood.
