The story seems to be authentic - and the clerk was not fired!

It's 100 percent REAL

I live in Springfield, MO and that happened about 20 miles west of me in Marionville, MO. The clerk started working at the Beer-30 liquor store on July 4th. He asked the owner if she minded him carrying his pistol while working. She said at first she didn't like the idea, but found out he was never without his pistol (like most of us). After the attempted robbery, she said she sure was glad he had his gun. Looks like the clerk converted the owner. The clerk always open carrys.
