There have been unconfirmed rumors for several years that certain handgun manufacturers have been secretly installing RFID chips.

Now Kentucky (at least the Senate - not sure about their Congress) has passed a law that requires RFID chips in ALL guns, not just newly manufactured ones. And apparently the system will include GPS tracking. This certainly has grave implications for open carriers.

As reported on the National Report website:

"Weapon RFID System Bill – Mandatory Tracking Of Kentucky’s Gun Owners

In a controversial move today, Kentucky law makers slipped a bill through the senate making the installation of a tracking device or “Weapon RFID System” in firearms mandatory by state law."

See link for entire article.

Some highlights of the article include:

"By the beginning of next year it will be mandatory that all registered firearms within the state of Kentucky be implanted with a Weapon RFID System. Those who are found to be non-compliant by the deadline will face steep fines, jail time or even the loss of the firearm. Gun owners will be required to show up at a predesignated location where they’ll pay a small fee and hand over their firearms to be implanted."

Can you say slave?

"Lawmakers feel it is a acceptable compromise to install the chips rather than permanently confiscate every gun in the state as they have in countries such as Australia, Canada and the UK."

So these tyrants believe that they have the right to confiscate all guns. What oath breakers.

"Officials say they hope the bill will catch on so they can push to have it implemented nationwide."

Why would Kentucky lawmakers care about other states laws or Federal laws? Seems there is more to this story than we are being told. What a great tool for nationwide gun confiscation. I'll bet good gold that criminals - once they know about the system - will be able to easily defeat the chips. How will this stop or deter crime? It won't.

What a joke.

Is there any way we can mark this thread as spam or have it locked? This is misleading and completely off-topic -- as well as FALSE.
