Starbucks bans guns, punitive priesthood excepted

It remains to be seen if/how the policy will be enforced.
“If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind? ” -Bastiat

I don't "need" to openly carry a handgun or own an "assault weapon" any more than Rosa Parks needed a seat on the bus.

I would imagine that the policy will be enforced as a total no-guns policy after a certain period of time has elapsed ~ 3-6 months.

Or perhaps earlier. Their policy is that complainers' cries to kick carriers out should be ignored but you know that this is likely not going to happen too long.

Its a no-gun policy -- pro-RKBA citizens should accept it and get coffee elsewhere.

That is just fine with me, they have the right to decide who they want in their stores just as I have a right to spend my money else where. Yet when some nut job see the no gun sign, these liberals can feel free to try to explain to the country again how gun free zones don't invite mass shooters. Again I will go where my rights are welcome, no skin off my noise. Let the liberals think they won, they will be wishing one of these gun nuts are there to save their bacon if God forbid a nut job make it his target.

-I come in peace, I didn't bring artillery. But I am pleading with you with tears in my eyes: If you screw with me, I'll kill you all.
-Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.

Oh well, not getting coffee from there again, dang gift cards.
Provision for free medical attendance and nursing, for clothing, for food, for housing, for the education of children, and a hundred other matters, might with equal propriety be proposed as tending to relieve the employee of mental strain and worry. --- These matters obviously lie outside the orbit of congressional power. They have the right to make their stores free fire zones. That is their prerogative. It also makes their store a danger to my kids and me so sadly I will have to get my coffee fix elsewhere.

    Oh well.
