Help with old news story

Last May of 2012, there was a news story about a man in Madison that was OC'ing and was attacked and his gun taken away. I have tried to search for it, but I am not very IT literate. Does anyone remember the story and can fill in the details for me, please?

I don't remember hearing about anything in Madison, WI.
Your first news story happened in Milwaukee, WI in May 2011,
the second happened in Minneapolis, MN in May 2012.
(What is it about May?)

I tried googling [madison wisconsin open carrier attacked] and [madison wisconsin open carrier arrested] and can't find anything.
