From "Maryland, criminal friendly, murder central USA," 21 reported recent B-more City crime related shootings in a 24 hour period.
Local 6pm & 11pm local "Liberal Newsies" always report these overnight inner city shootings as GUN VIOLANCE, never CRIMINAL VIOLENCE. I wonder WHY?

WOW! PROOF POSITIVE THAT STRICT GUN CONTROL LAWS THAT DISARM LAWFUL CITIZENS OR PREVENT THEM FROM EXERCISING THEIR SELF DEFENSE CARRY RIGHTS AFFORDED BY THE US CONSITITUTION BILL OF RIGHTS SECOND AMENDMENT, REALLY HELPS PREVENT CRIME & SAVES LIVES. While many of the same politicians who pass these laws have armed municipal, county or state police providing them & their familes 24/7 protection!

Maryland Firearms Safety Act of 2013, effective 10/1/2013 carries a 5 year prison term and/or $5,000 fine if a law abiding citizens fails to comply with any of these new regulations, illegally possess a pre-FSA owned “regulated firearm,” or a “Banned Firearm, Banned Firearm Copy(s), or “Copycat Banned Firearms.”

BUT the 2013 MD-FSA does not add any of these penalties to criminals who use, brandish or possess a firearm in the commission of a crime. Such criminals only get charged with the crime(s) they commit, first, second & third degree, with a firearm including the possession of an illegal firearm if applicable. The criminal is not charged with any applicable FSA regulations such as "not taking the required 8 hour pre-purchase safety & proficiency training by a State Certified Private Firearms Safety Instructor, not obtaining the $50 State License to purchase & possess a handgun, not completing & filing the ($15) Mandatory Pre-purchase State Police Background Investigation Form through a Licensed Firearms Dealer & approved by the State Police, not having a current Concealed Carry Permit for which a lawful applicant must demonstrate a specific need based on prior documented threats or experiences, & not safely storing the weapon when not in use. HA, HA!
