Drake, those Walmart ammo policies not only change from week to week, but no two stores seem to have quite the same rules.
Maybe so, but it feels like total Bull Sh-t to parade a ammo buy through the store, past the registers, to the customer service desk; I felt embarrassed, and felt as though Wal*mart was making an example out of me, or other ammo buyers. I hate being toyed with like that.
Oh, sure, it's all fine and dandy to card someone who is buying pistol, or rifle ammo, if they look to be under 19 (or 21). but it seems like a form of corporate gun control, to inconvenience customers when they're trying to buy a product.
Limit someone to just one food product, like, you're only allowed one pack of ramen, and nothing else, per person, per day; And I'm willing to bet that wal*mart would go out of business pretty quickly, and probably have a lawsuit on its head for some random charge.
I'm sorry for ranting, I'm generally aggravated because Wal*mart has the cheapest ammo that I've found, anywhere within driving distance for my wallet, and I can only get one box per day. I'm glad I stocked up on .45 Long colt, and .30-06 before the corporate ammo hoarding got too bad, at least if the Zombie apocalypse was to happen next week, or whenever, I'll be able to pick a few thousand zombies off with my rifle, and fall back to my revolver while I'm digging a hole for me to sit and cry in.
